Panthers Basketball Club is a dynamic club focused on furthering our members' health, fitness and social lives through basketball. Our teams play at the Mundaring Arena on Mundaring Weir Road from October through to March each year, with a short break during the Christmas and New Year periods. We are affiliated with Hills Raiders Basketball Association and play against other clubs from the Perth Hills including Gidgegannup, Sawyers Valley, Chidlow, Parkerville and more. Governance and oversight of our club is provided by the Panthers Management Committee, a group of volunteers who meet each month. Coaches, team managers and club officials also provide their time voluntarily and their support is greatly appreciated.
40th Anniversary
In April 2025, Panthers celebrated 40 years of basketball. We are proud of our history and the role we have played in promoting basketball as a sport for everyone, with a focus on good sportsmanship, teamwork, respect and community. We are looking forward to continuing our strong presence in the Hills basketball community as an inclusive, competitive Club that supports and is supported by its members. GO PANTHERS!
We are so excited about our new Club uniforms which were unveiled at our pre-season meeting on the 18 September 2024. A huge thank you to the Mundaring Community Bank for their support. We received a grant for $7,100 towards the cost of our uniforms which will ensure that all our teams will be wearing new uniforms this season as part of our 40th anniversary.
